Hi, hello! I’m Laura, I’m 19 and I have been vegan for almost 3 years. I was vegetarian for two and a half years before this but I haven’t looked back. I stopped consuming animal products initially for ethical reasons but I quickly learnt the environmental and health benefits of a vegan lifestyle too! (If you are interested in learning more about why, I recommend some documentaries in this blog).
I love being vegan and feel so passionate about it, so I thought the best way to encourage others was to start with food! So for the past few months I have been using my Instagram, and now this website, to show that that vegan food doesn’t have to be complicated and to put a stop to the misconception that vegans eat grass!
Since going vegan I really started to enjoy spending time creating in the kitchen… I’m not a big fan of following recipes (with the exception of baking) so you won’t find ‘exact science’ recipes here. For each meal you’ll find guidance on ingredients to include but have fun with it and mix it up to suit your tastes and what you’ve got in the kitchen!
